5 ‘militants’ sent to Dhaka jail from Ctg

Five suspected militants, including a Pakistani national, were sent to Dhaka Central Jail from here on Thursday.
A police team left the port city along with the five militants for the capital around 9am amid tight security, said Senior Jail Super of the Chittagong Central Jail Sagir Miah.
He said the ‘militants’ are scheduled to be produced before a Dhaka court in connection with a case on Sunday.
Police arrested the five suspected militants-Mohammad Alam, 45, a Pakistani national, Abdul Majid, 31, hailing from Ukhia upazila in Cox’s Bazar and a Saudi expatriate, Mohammad Salamat Ullah, 45, Shafiullah, 40, and Mohammad Amin, 50 — from a residential hotel in the city on November 23.
