Five accomplished personalities were honoured for their outstanding contributions in the cultural field in Jhenidah district . on Friday. Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shafikul Islam was present as chief guest while SP Altaf Hossain was present as special guest.
Jhenidah district Additional Deputy Commissioner (general) Sheikh Rafikul Islam presided over the meeting. Cultural officer Al-Mamun-Bin Saleh delivered welcome speech.
The accomplished personalities are Ranjan Kumar Bhaumik (in musical instrument), Dr. Sudhir Samaddar (in drama), Jalal Uddin (in Jatra pala), Azizul Shah alias Mukul Shah (in vocal) and Feroj Khan Noon (in Look shangit).
DC Shafikul Islam gave away the medal among the accomplished persons.
