Police in a drive arrested five fakemembers of Detective Branch(DB) from city’s Dakhshin Kamalapur area early Monday.
The arrestees were: identified as Badal, Momen Ali, Firoz, Syed Moniruzzaman and Hasan.
A team of police conducted the drive in the area
around 1:00 am and arrested five people along with a private car, one shooter gun, seven rounds of bullets, a pair of handcuff and three sets of DB clothes, said Omar Faruk, officer-in-charge of Motijheel Police Station.
