A destructive fire at the house of Abdus Sattar at the village Taratia at Gafargaon under Mymensingh burnt 5 dwelling houses, three cows and goods worth about Tk 15 lakh at 8pm on Sunday .
Sources said, dwelling houses of Abdus Sattar caught fire from an oven of the kitchen.After that fire spread over very fast at his son`s dwelling houses . At that time the villagers including the people of the houses tried to extinguish fire.Without controlling fire 5 dwelling houses including goods in the rooms are burnt. Three cows of his sons were also burnt.
Getting news Fire Service men from Gafargaon sadar rushed to the spot and controlled fire after a long time with the help of the villagers.The familily members are now under the open sky. Local Panchbag UP chairman Ahmed Saifus Saleheen Safa visited the spot .
