UNB, Dhaka :Five students of Dhaka University were suspended on Thursday for their alleged link with banned militant outfit Hizb ut-Tahrir.The action was taken against DU Management Department students Nur-e Alam Shihab Uddin and Mohammad Sayedi Hasan Sajib, and Md Tariqul Islam, Nakib Farhan and Md Alamgir Hossain of the Accounting and Information Systems Department.Confirming the suspension, DU acting proctor Amzad Ali said they were identified using the closed circuit camera of the Business Faculty. He said the students were captured distributing leaflets, CDs and jihadi books.
