4th round of BPL Football begins today

After a two-day recess, the fourth round of TVS Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football begins today with two matches on the day.
Defending champions Bashundhara Kings will take on Bangladesh Police Football Club (FC) at Bashundhara Sports Complex in the city at 3.00pm, while Lieutenant Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club will meet old Dhaka outfit Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society at Sylhet District Stadium in Sylhet at 5.30pm.
Bashundhara Kings have secured six points from three matches, while Police FC have collected two points playing the same number of outings.
Lieutenant Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club (DC) secured seven points from three matches, while Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society yet to open their account playing the same number of matches.
Bashundhara Kings earlier lost to Swadhinata Krira Sangha by 1-2 goals in their League opening match, beat Uttar Baridhara Club by a solitary goal in their second match and edged past Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra by a lone goal in their third match of the League.
Police Football Club lost 0-1 to Saif Sporting Club in their League’s opening match, played to a 1-1 goal draw with Abahani Limited, Dhaka in their second match and again split point with Sheikh Jamal DC forcing them to play a goalless draw in their third match of the League.
