4th Begum Fazilatunnesa Mujib International Martial Art Competition begins on April 14

The 4th Begum Fazilatunnesa Mujib International Martial Art Competition begins on April 14. The four-day long sports meet will be held at the Gymnasium of National Sports Council, Muhammad Ali Boxing Stadium and Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Wooden Floor Gymnasium. Bangladesh Martial Art Confederation will arrange the sports meet.
A total of 350 participants from 20 countries will take part at the gala extravaganza. Hosts Bangladesh, Philippines, India, Nepal, Thailand, North Korea, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, United Arab Emirates, Iran, Jordan, United States of America, Bhutan, Pakistan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Uzbekistan, Egypt and China will participate in the martial arts competition.
The budget of the competition has been estimated at Tk 33 lakh while Maryam Foundation has given Tk 15 lakh to Bangladesh Martial Art Confederation.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Martial Art Confederation Hasan-Uz-Zaman Moni disclosed all the matters related to the competition at the press conference held at the conference room of National Sports Council on Saturday.
Minister for Industries Amir Hossain Amu will inaugurate the competition as the chief guest at the Gymnasium of National Sports Council on April 14.
President of Bangladesh Martial Art Confederation and Minister for Information Hasanul Haq Inu will preside over the inaugural ceremony.
