Channel i is going to arrange the 4th Bangla Kheyal Utsab which will start in the evening of January 31 and will continue till morning of February 1 on the rooftop the channel in the city’s Tejgaon area.
Some 150 singers of 34 music institutions including Department of Music, University of Dhaka will take part in this year’s festival. Specialty of this year’s festival will be participation of 200 newcomer artistes.
This was announced at a press conference held at Channel i office on Tuesday where Director and Head of News of Channel i Shykh Seraj, noted music exponent and Chairman of Sangskriti Kendro Azad Rahman spoke at the conference.
Karim Shahabuddin, Ashit Roy, Dr Nashid Kamal, Dr Harunun Rashid, Dr Padmini Dey, general secretary of Sangskriti Kendro Selina Azad, Alif, among others, were also present on the occasion.
