4th Asian Tourism Fair begins on August 27

The three-day 4th Asian Tourism Fair will begin at Bashundhara Convention Center in the city on August 27, aiming to attract the world to explore the beauty of Asia.
In associations with Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation and Bangladesh Tourism Board (BTB), Parjatan Bichitra, a monthly tourism magazine, will organize the fair.
Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon MP inaugurate the fair as the chief guest of the inaugural function.
The organisers made the announcement from a press conference at Jatiya Press Club on Tuesday.
Chairman of Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation Aparup Chowdhury, Chief executive of BTB AkhtaruzZaman Zaman Khan Kabir, Parjatan Bichitra editor Mohiuddin Helal, among others, spoke on the occasion.
Mohiuddin Helal said Bangladesh will be able to attract the tourists around the globe to visit and enjoy the unexplored natural beauty of the country through this festival.
Bangladesh hosts this year’s Asian tourism fair, which will also be participated by China, India, Nepal, Bhutan, Singapore, Philippine and Uzbekistan.
Various tour operators, airlines, travel shops, theme parks, hotels, resorts are taking part at the event offerings a lot of exciting packages to attract the tourist and travelers.
The fair will be open from 10am to 8pm every day. The entry fee for the fair is Tk 20, but students of schools and colleges will have free entry.
