48 rivers marked rise, 29 fall

Water levels in 48 river stations monitored by Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked rise and 29 stations recorded fall.
Among the 85 monitored water level stations, two river stations have been registered steady, a bulletin issued by FFWC said here on Monday. Significant rainfall was recorded in some stations in different districts during the last 24 hours ending at 6 am yesterday. A total of 101.6 millimeters (mm) rainfall were recorded at Narsingdi, 67 mm at Sylhet, 74.5 mm at Panchagarh and 60 mm at Brahmanbaria.
