Chitagong Bureau :The 43 rd death anniversary of the noted politician and parliamentarian AKM Fazlul Kabir Chowdhury was observed in his native home at Raozan in Chittagong on Wednesday . Late Fazlul Kabir chowdhury is the father of ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury MP, chairman of parliamentalry standing committee on Railway Ministry . A day long religious program was chalked out in his Gohira village home. Among others, ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury MP , sons of the demise ABM Fazle Rabbi chowdhury, ABM Fazle Shahid chowdhury , chairman of Raozan upazila Ehsanul Haider chowdhury Babul, Upazila AL President Shafiqul Islam chowdhury Baby, Principal of Raozan College AKM Abdur Rashid, Principal of Immam Gazzali College Md. Idrish, Principal of Noapara college Kafil Uddin, General Manager of Chittagong Palli Bidduyut Samity-2 Abu Bakkar siddique, Panel Mayor of Raozan Pourashava Bashir uddin Khan, poura AL leader Kamaluddin, upazila chatra league President Zamiruddin Parvez were present on the occasion. The leaders of the ruling party and its front organizations placed wreaths at the grave of the demise with due respect . Mentionable that late Fazlul Kabir Chowdhury was the opposition leader in the then East Pakistan assembly who expired in Dhaka in 1972, sources said.
