Water levels in 43 river stations monitored by Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked rises and 36 stations recorded falls.
Among the 83 monitored water level stations, two river stations have been registered steady, a bulletin issued by FFWC said on Wednesday.
The Brahmaputra-Jamuna and Ganges-Padma are in rising trend while the Meghna is in falling trend.
Significant rainfall was recorded in some stations in different districts during the last 24 hours ending at 6 am on Wednesday.
A total of 56.8 mm was recorded at Chapainawabganj, 50 mm at Rohanpur, 54 mm at Jessore and 45 mm at Pabna.
