Four workers of New Dhaka Molding Private Ltd, a steel manufacturing factory in Fatullah, Narayanganj, have sustained burn injuries.
The four workers identified as Fazlul Hoq, 55, Noyon Mia, 28, Abdul Khaleque, 65 and Monir Hossain, 55, were admitted at the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Friday.
The mishap took place around 7am on Friday at the factory situated in
Aliganj area, said Fatulla police OC Kamal Uddin. Fatullah ASP Md Shorfuddin told bdnews24.com that the four workers were making iron bars when a flaming flake hit them. OC Kamal said Fazlul’s condition was critical with 32 percent burn injuries while Noyon, Khaleque and Monir received two to six percent burns.
