At least four people of a family were killed in a fire incident at Lohagara upazila of the port city Chittagong early on Thursday.
The deceased were identified as house master Abdur Rahim, 42, a mason by profession, his wife Nasima Akhter, 35, their two daughters Reshmi, 13 and Shumi, 9, of Shipahipara area in Adhunagar union.

Police Station said the fire broke from electric short circuit at around 3:30 am and soon spread around.
The four house members asleep burnt alive in the fire.
Two sons of the deceased couple however escaped the death as they were out of home during the fire.
