4-nation motor rally begins today

The Bangladesh-Bhutan-India-Nepal (BBIN) Friendship Motor Rally 2015 will kick off from today (Saturday) from Bhubaneswar in Orissa and end at Kolkata in India.
The rally would cover 4,500 km in 17 days in four countries by around 22 vehicles and the 80 participants would achieve a new milestone in regional integration among four countries.
The Kalinga Motors Sports Club in association with the Union Ministry of Road Transport of India organised the rally.
Government and non-government representatives, including a team of journalists from four neighboring counties, will join this rally.
The friendship motor rally will wade through places of historical and political importance of four countries. Seminars will be held at important cities on the rally route.
Starting from Bhubaneswar it will pass through Ranchi, Patna, Siliguri, Gangtok, Phuentosholing, Timphu, Guwahati, Silchar, Agartala, Chittagong, Dhaka and Kolkata, among other, various other places.
