A court in Chittagong granted adinterim bail to four industrialists of Chittagong following their surrender before the court.
These industrialists are accused in seven suits so lodged by a commercial bank and issued warrant against them.
After issue of warrant of arrests on Tuesday , these default industrialists surrendered. Chittagong Metropolitan Session Judge SM Mujibur Rahman grantedbail to them aftersurrender, court sourcessaid.
The surrendered industrialists areChairman of Marine Vegetable Oils Ltd Jahir Ahmed, Director of the same organization and chairman of Jasmia VegetableOils Tipu Sultan, Managing Directorof Samnnaz Super Oils Shahabuddin and his wife- chairman of the same organisastion YasmeenAlam. The warrant of arrests wereissued against them in 3 suits of each. Reliable sources said Samanaz Group with address at Agrabad Finlay house borrowed loanfrom Agrani Bank and in settlement bof the loans 3 cheques issued to Agrani Bank on May 21 last year .
