CMP police rounded up four dacoits from port colony residential area under Bandar thana on Saturday night while taking preparations for conducting dacoity in the area.
Acting on secret information Bandar thana police conducted raid in a flat of port colony and apprehended them in red handed. The detained identified as Motaleb Hossain(24) of Comiila, Md Osman gain(20) of Hathazari, Ctg. Md. Zubair(23) of Baizid area in city and Md. Roni of Brahmanbaria.
Officer incharge of Bandar thana AKM Mohiuddin told that sensing the news of the presence of the dacoits, they instantly conducted raid in the same flat of the colony and apprehended them.
Police recovered one toy pistol, 3 catridges, two sharp knives and one CNG autorickshaw from their possession. Legal actions are being taken against them, sources said.
