A mobile team of the Department of Narcotics , Chittagong wing rounded up four drug peddlers from Laldighi area in city alongwith 4000 pieces of contraband yaba tablets on Wednesday evening.
l The detained are Abdur Rahim, Jahed, Somel Barua and Mosharaf. Deputy director of Narcotics Aslaml Hossain told that acting on secret information, these drug peddlers were arrested alongwith yabas. These intoxicated yaba were brought in Chittagong aimed at selling from Cox’sBazar. A case under Narcotics act was lodged with the Kotwali thana in connection, sources said.
