4 get death sentence in N’ganj Emon murder case

A Narayanganj court on Monday sentenced four people to death for killing schoolboy Emon in 2013.
Additional district and sessions judges of special tribunal-1 Miaji Mohammad Shahdiul Islam pronounced the verdict.
On June 14, 2015, police submitted a chargesheet against 10 people to court in the murder case.
Emon Hossain, a class-VI student of Kanainagar High School and son of Ismail Hossain of Char Radhanagar village in Fatulla of Sadar upazila, went missing on June 13, 2013.
Later, police recovered the body of the schoolboy sliced into nine pieces from a Dhaincha field, half a km away from his house, on June 22.
On June 24, the victim’s father filed a case against nine named people and 4-5 unidentified ones.
Ten accused gave confessional statements to a court under section 164.
After the incident, police arrested Aman Ullah’s wife Ayesha and son Nahid, and Siraj’s son Mamun.
