The Mass Communication and Journalism Department of the Social Science Faculty of the University of Dhaka has announced the Tofazzal Hossain (Manik Mia) Memorial Stipends for 2019.
Students of 1st, 2nd and 3rd years of BSS (Honours) of the year of 2019 of the department got the stipends for achieving highest GPA, politeness, regular attendance and satisfactory advancements in study. Of them, SM Shams Rahman, Class roll-34, Session-2017-18, 2nd year Salimullah Muslim Hall and Arwin Ahmed Mitu, Class roll-18, Session-2016-17, 3rd year, Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Hall will get Tk 1000 monthly each for one year.
Usama Rafid, Class roll-38, Session-2018-19, 1st year, Salimullah Muslim Hall and Farah Jahan Shuchi, Class roll-63, Session-2018-19, 1st year Kabi Sufia Kamal Hall will get Tk 500 monthly each for one year.
The Deputy Register (Education-4) of the university on November 28, 2021 by a notification announced the stipends.
