BNP on Friday announced its committees of Sunamganj, Rangpur, Tangail and Moulvibazar district units as part of the party’s move to enhance its organisational capacity by overhauling its grassroots bodies.
Besides, the Rangpur city unit committee of the party was also announced.
BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir approved the new committees, said a press release. Kalimuddin Ahmed Milon has been made Sunamganj district BNP president while Nurul Islam its general secretary.
Saiful Islam and Royees Ahmed have been appointed president and general secretary of Rangpur district BNP respectively.
Mozaffar Hossain has been selected Rangpur city unit BNP president while Shahidul Islam Miju its general secretary.
Besides, Shamsul Islam Tofa has been made president and advocate Farhad Iqbal general secretary of Tangail district BNP.
Finally, M Naser Rahman and Mizanur Rahman Mizan have been made president and general secretary of Moulvibazar district BNP respectively.
