Chittagong Metropolitan Police arrested four youths on charges of taking preparation to commit a robbery from Hamidchar area of Chandgaon thana in the city early yesterday.
The arrestees were identified as Abdur Rahim, 35, Mohammad Belal, 24, Mohammad Yousuf, 28 and Abul Kalam, 33.
Mohammad Shahjahan Kabir, Officer-in-charge of Chandgaon thana said based on secret information police arrested them from Hamidchar area under Candgaon thana at 3 am early today.
