Chittagong Metro Police in an special raid in new railway station under Kotwali thana 8in the city rounded up four dacoity gang members alongwith dacoity weapons yesterday.
The detained dacoits identified as Badsha Miah, Md. suman, Kashem ali and Sabbir Hossain. SI of Detective police of CMP Md. Rajib Hossain told that acting on secret tipoff, a team of police conducted raid in the area and managed to apprehend them alongwith lethal weapons.
On interrogation, they confessed to police that they were assembled in the area aimed at committing dacoity .
