UNB, Laxmipur :Four policemen were injured in an attack by Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) and Jubo League activists at Saifia Darbar Sharif in Moju Chowdhuryrhat area of Sadar upazila on Friday.The injured cops are sub-inspector of Sadar Police Station Abu Sayed, and constables Al Amin, Abdul Motaleb and Hasan.Police said the BCL and Jubo League activists swooped on the policemen during the distribution of food on the second day of the annual mahfil at the Darbar Sharif.As the BCL and Jubo League activists were trying to get the meals without buying tickets and standing in the queue, the policemen told them to follow the rules.At one stage, 10-15 BCL and Jubo League men attacked police personnel and beat them, said office-in-charge of Sadar Police Station Md Abdullah Al Mamun Bhuiyan.Meanwhile, police arrested a man in connection with the incident, he said.b
