Four Bangladesh expatriates were killed and two others injured in a road accident in Doha, Qatar on Tuesday.
The deceased were identified as Islam Uddin, 32, his younger brother Moinuddin, 30, sons of Hashoi Mia, hailing from Jhingabari village of Kanaighat upazila in Sylhet, Awlad Hossain, 35, son of Kutubuddin of Gordonakandi village, and Muhibuddin, 28, of Kaptanpur village of the same upazila.
The injured were identified by Rezwanul Karim, younger brother of Awlad Hossain and Farid Uddin.
Family members of the deceased were informed about the incident by Nurul Islam Nahid, a Bangladeshi expatriate living in Qatar.
The accident reportedly took place when a goods-laden truck hit a taxicab the Bangladeshis expatriates hired for travelling to Somal from a local vegetable market in Doha around 11:00 am (BST).
