Rly recruitment scandal: 4 accused sent to jail custody

A court in Chittagong in a order directed to sent 4 accused to jail custody rejecting the bail prayer yesterday.
The accused have taken ad-interim bail from high court with false informations in a corruption case of employing Tool Keeper posts of East Zone railway in Chittagong , court sources said. Senior Special Judge SM Mujibur Rahman sent these accused rejecting bail petition yesterday.
The accused are SM Azizul Hoque, SM Saidur Rahman, Rabiul Hasan and Ashraful Islam. The accused were selected in the post of Tool Keeper of Railway East zone amid irregularities. These accused were grant ad-interim bail from high court o March 10 last. PP of Special Judge court Advocate Mesbahuddin Ahmed told that these accused were granted ad-interim bail from higher court for 8 weeks with producing false statement saying the railway employment case now pending in CMM court in Chittagong and not yet framed charged whereas the case was pending in Special Judge court for framing charge sheet.
 The accused after expiry of bail period, surrendered before the special judge court and prayed for bail but the Judge sent them to jail custody rejecting the bail petition after proving their HC bail was illegal. Mentionable that Deputy Assistant Director of ACC Md. Nazimuddin filed a employment corruption case before the Kotwali thana on February 10, 2013 accusing 7 persons including former General Manager, former Chief Mechanical Engineer and former Social Welfare Officer of Railway, East Zone, sources said.
