A four-day exposition, titled ‘Third FoodPro Bangladesh 2015, kicks off on Wednesday at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the city, aiming to strengthen ties among local and international stakeholders.
Bangladesh Agro Processors’ Association (BAPA), Project of European Union-
Bangladesh Inspired and Extreme Exhibition & Event Solution Ltd will host the largest international exposition on agro and food processing sector of Bangladesh.
Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu will inaugurate the show. Agriculture Minister Begum Matia Chowdhury will also be present.
Organisers at a press conference at the Jatiya Press Club said the show will be the best platform for greater interactions with the international stakeholders and local marketers for ensuring that Bangladeshi marketers get to enhance their technological know-how and get in touch with advanced technology.
BAPA general secretary Raju Ahmed and expo organising committee chairman and BAPA EC Committee member DD Ghoshal, vice president of Bangladesh Auto Major & Husking Mill Owners Association Alhajj Yousuf Bacchu and MD of E3 Solutions Chanmohan Saha were, among others, present at the press conference.
There will be two other concurrent expositions named ‘5th Agro Bangladesh Expo 2015’ and ‘Rice & Graintech Expo 2015’.
The exposition – 5thAgro Bangladesh Expo 2015 – is based on agricultural machineries and equipments. It will start at 10am every day and close at 7pm. Visitors will be able to visit the show with free registration.
There will business-to-business matching sessions in the first two days for industrial business development and couple of technical sessions on relevant sector which will be organised to enlighten the market stakeholders during the exposition.
