The third Marcel Cup Bodybuilding Championship began on Wednesday with the participation of above 200 participants from across the country.
Walton Group sports and welfare division chief MF Iqbal Bin Anwar formally inaugurated the meet as the chief guest, said a Walton Group press release.
BBF general secretary Nazrul Islam was also present on the occasion.
Earlier, on Tuesday, physical weight of the 200 bodybuilders was taken at National Sports Council (NSC) Gymnasium.
The competition is being held in six physical weight categories, sponsored by Walton Group and organised by Bangladesh Bodybuilding Federation (BBF).
The competition will conclude today (Thursday) through final round and prize distribution ceremony.
