39-day vacation begins at IU

Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia goes on a 39-day vacation from Saturday on the occasion of summer, holy Ramzan and Eid-ul-Fitr, said an IU press release.
All the academic activities of the university will remain closed from May 20 to July 3 while the department authorities can take classes and examinations among May 20 to June 19 if they want. University authority will provide logistic support for holding classes and examinations during the vacations.
Besides, all the administrative activities of the university will remain closed from May 20 to 27 on the occasion of summer and from June 20 to July 3 on the occasion of holy Ramzan and Eid-ul-Fitr while the offices will continue from May 28 to June 19.
IU acting Registrar SM Abdul Latif said all the academic and administrative activities will resume on July 4 after ending the vacation. Mentioned, the residential halls will remain closed on the occasion from June 20 to July 2 and it will reopen on July 3.
