Some 38 students will have to vie for one seat in the admission test for 2016-17 academic session in Rajshahi University (RU) this year scheduled to be held from October 24 to 27.
AHM Aslam Hossain, Deputy Registrar (Academic) of RU, told that the entry test will be held for 56 Departments under nine units and two institutions.
The exams will be held from 9am to 4.30 pm in four shits every day. A total of 1,78,949 students have submitted application forms against 4,713 seats including quota.
As a result, 38 students will fight for each seat. Only the students, who passed HSC examinations in 2016, will take part in the admission test.
Application forms were received through online system from last September 18 to October 2. Seat plans were kept visible in seven places on the campus.
