The 37th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) preliminary examination will be held on Friday (September 30).
The Public Service Commission (PSC) has already completed all preparations in this connection.
The two hours long examination will start at 9:30 am in 190 centres of
Dhaka, Rajshahi, Chittagong, Khulna, Rangpur and Sylhet at a time.
A total of 2, 43,476 candidates are expected to sit for the examination against 1,226 posts.
Meanwhile, the commission prohibited use of any kind of watch, including wrist watch, pocket watch and electronic watch during the examination, the PSC sources said.
The authorities will provide necessary number of wall clocks in the examination halls to check time.
The examinees have also been asked not to enter the examination halls along with mobile phone sets, electronic devices, books, notes, calculators and bags.
