The preliminary phase of the Elegant ICA 36th National Women’s Chess Championship will start on Thursday at 3:00 pm at Bangladesh Chess Federation hall-room.
It’s an open event for all women and girls.
Interested women and girls can enroll their names on or before Wednesday at Bangladesh Chess Federation office.
The event will be held in seven round Swiss league system and top seven players of final raking of the event will be qualified for the final phase.
Reigning woman champion WIM Shamima Sultana, runner-up WFM Sharmin Sultana Shirin, WIM Rani Hamid, WFM Syeda Shaba Parveen Nipa and WFM Tanima Parveen will participate directly in the final phase.
