A roundtable conference titled ‘Saidpur’s Development, Possibilities and Deprivation’ was held at Red Chili Chinese Restaurant in Saidpur of Nilphamari district on Saturday marking the 30th anniversary of the publication of the local weekly ‘Alapan’.
Aminul Haque, Editor of Alapan, presented the keynote at the conference, presided over by Moksedul Momin, Chairman of Saidpur Upazila parishad.
Rabia Alim, MP of reserved women’s seat, was present as chief guest while Akhter Hossain Badal, President of Saidpur AL and former Municipal Mayor of Upazila Awami League, attended the conference as special guest.
