300 Hajj pilgrims defrauded

About 300 Hajj pilgrims have failed to reach Mecca to perform their Hajj this year as a group of fraudulent gang defrauded them.
The devious ring looted everything of them taking advantage of their simplicity.
In a Ministry of Religious Affairs press note, it said that this year approximately 300 Hajj aspirants have been defrauded by a group of dishonest people.
Statement said, no one will get respite from the charge of unethical activity as they committed a crime. Action will be taken against the fraud gang of the travel agencies after collecting information from the victim Hajj pilgrims.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has warned the Hajj aspirants about the nameless and unregistered Hajj travel agencies. Despite the authorities alarm few agencies like baseless unregistered AL Helal and registered Maria and Arabia tours have collected huge amount of money without any pre-hajj registration. And finally they have failed to send them in hajj.
Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh (HAAB) President M Shadat Hossain Taslim said that he want an exemplary punishment be executed.
He said we always warned the hajj aspirants’ people not to go to unregistered Hajj agencies, but people put their feet in their trap influenced by their advertisement and local agent.
 HAAB president said we urged the government to take legal and administrative action against the cheaters.
