The government for the first time will distribute “Public Administration Award” among 30 officials and employees and institutions for their contributions to different sectors, including poverty alleviation and curbing of corruption.
“Public Administration Award will be distributed among 30 national and local level employees, teams and institutions for their contributory roles in different sectors,” State Minister for Public Administration Ismat Ara Sadique said this on Thursday while speaking at a press conference at the ministry meeting room at the Secretariat.
The award distribution ceremony would be held at Osmani Memorial auditorium in the city today.
The state minister hoped the award would promote innovative activities and sincerity of the employees and institutions.
Senior Secretary of Public Administration Ministry Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury and Principal Information Officer AKM Shamim Chowdhury were present on the occasion, among others.
