A three-year-old boy was killed as a tree branch fell on him near his house in Fatehabad village under Hathazari upazila in Chittagong on Saturday afternoon.
The deceased is Md Romel, son of Babul Miah.
The branches of a rain tree were being cut near Romel’s house, said police, quoting witnesses. Romel was roaming around in the area when suddenly a branch fell on him. He was declared dead at Chittagong Medical College Hospital.
