Three workers died falling from a 14-storey under-construction building in the city’s Bailey Road area on Tuesday. The victims were identified as Md Jahangir Hossain, 25, Md Sayem, 17, and Md Jainul.
The three workers met the accident around 3 pm while working on the 9th floor of the multi-storied building, said Jamil, a co-worker of the deceased.
They were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared them dead at around 3:30 pm, he said.
The bodies have been kept at the DMCH morgue for autopsy.
