Three persons, including two teenagers, were stabbed to death and several others injured over an ‘offensive comments in the facebook’ reportedly by a rival gang in Kapasia upazila of Gazipur district on Sunday morning.
The victims were identified as Faruk Hossain, 26, son of one Alam Mia, Naim Hossain, 18, son of one late Alam Hossain, and Robin, 15, son of Hiron Mia, residents of Dakshingao area in the upazila.
According to Locals, two local rival groups clashed this morning over a Facebook post on a woman, leaving Faruk, Naim, and Robin seriously injured by the rivals.
Out of them, Faruk, and Naim were rushed to Narsingdi’s Monohardi upazila while Robin to Dhaka Medical College Hospital but the on-duty doctors of the respective facilities declared the trio dead.
Kapasia Police Station Officer in-Charge ASM Nasim confirmed the incident to the media.
