Three sisters died of sinking in a pond at Julda village under Karnaphuli thana in chittagong on Friday evening.
Locals and police sourcs said three daughters of Ayub Ali named shahnaz Akhter(15), Nargis Akhter(8) and Nazma Akher(5) died falling in pond beside the home . Police recovered the bodies from the pond and handed over to family members .
Karnaphuli thana police said a new pond was dug recently beside their houses and these sisters went to this pond for bathing but due to its high depth all of them failed in the pond and could not survive leave them expired.
