UNB, Faridpur :
Three suspected robbers were beaten to death by a mob at Koijuri in Sadar upazila on Wednesday night.
Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately. Sadar upazila chairman Mohtesham Hossain Babar said local people caught the three robbers at about 11:00pm while a gang of robbers, numbering 25/30, was preparing to commit a robbery in the area. The villagers then gave them a severe thrashing, leaving the trio seriously injured. Later, they were rushed to Faridpur Medical College Hospital where on-duty doctors declared them dead at about 11:30 pm, said the hospital doctor Sirajul Islam.
