UNB, Chittagong :A court here on Sunday placed three accused in the case filed over the killing of Police Super Babul Aktar’s wife Mahmuda Khanam Mitu, on a three-day remand each.Those remanded are Saidul Shikdar alias Saku, 35, brother of Musa, prime accused of Mitu killing case, Shahjahan, a member of the killing mission, and Chittagong Swechhasebok League leader Ehtesamul Haque Bhola, arms supplier of the mission. Metropolitan Magistrate Harunur-or-Rashid passed the order after a police team produced them before the court, said Additional Deputy Commissioner (Prosecution) of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) Nirmalndu Bikash Chakraborty.Earlier, police filed a petition with the court seeking a 10-day remand against the trio after they were arrested from different areas of the port city but the court fixed on Sunday for hearing on the remand plea.
