At least three members of a family were killed in a road accident in the city’s Khilkhet area on Sunday afternoon.
The deceased could not be identified immediately, said Abdul Ahad, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Gulshan Division) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police.
A passenger-bus of Tetulia Paribahan hit a private car in the area around 4:00pm as the driver lost control over the steering, leaving three car passengers dead on the spot, the Police official said. “We are looking into the incident”, he said.
The bodies have been sent to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) morgue for an autopsy.
