Three members of a organized motorbike lifters group in Chittagong rounded up by Chandgaon thana police in Chittagong on Thursday .
Police also recovered two stolen motorbikes from their possession. These lifters were apprehended from Kaptai rastha matha area in city on Thursday .The detained motorbike lifters are Md. Iqbal(25), Badiul Alam alias Mana (23) and Md.Khokan(30) . Chandgaon thana Officer Incharge Abdur Rouf told that Iqbal and Badiul are engaged in lifting the motorbikes and Khokan is the selling agent of the stolen bikes in different areas of the district.
According to the confess of the detained lifters, these gang stolen 30 motorbikes in last one month.
A number of cases of motorbike lifting lying pending in different city police stations in city since long. The detained motorbike lifters were sent to court on Thursday, later after hearing the police statement, the Judge of Chittagong Metropolitan Session Judge sent them to jail custody.
