3 more Rohingyas admitted to CMCH

Three more Rohingya refugees fleeing Myanmar have been admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital, ( CMCH)on Wednesday.
 CMCH sources said a total of 105 Rohingya victims so far admitted in the hospial of which 75% are injured and the rest are ill Out of the total, two died in hospital and one escaped Out of yesterday’s admission, two of them were wounded by bullets and the third was stabbed.
 The three were brought to the hospital from the Kutupalong refugee camp on Wednesday night.
They have been identified as Taslima (30), and Mohammad Abdullah (22), who were struck by bullets, and Md Abul Kashem, 80, who was stabbed.
Taslima was struck by bullets on her left arm and left leg, while Abdullah was struck on the left leg, said Chittagong Medical Police Outpost ASI Alauddin Talukdar to this correspondent .
They were all transferred from the hospital in the camp run by Médecins Sans Frontières for advanced treatment during the night, the police said.
A fresh influx of Rohingya refugees has crossed into Bangladesh after insurgents attacked as many as 30 police outposts and a military camp in Myanmar’s Rakhine State on Aug 24.
A total of 103 Rohingyas have been admitted to CMCH in the days since, most wounded in gunfire and explosions. Two of them have died.
While contacted Director of the CMCH yesterday morning told this reporter that the influx of Rohingya patients gradually decreasing in the hospital like first two or three days. Out of the total so far admitted, maximum were admitted in surgery and burn unit ward and only a few admitted in other wards. He said so far 105 Rohingyas were treated in the hospital in last one week.
