UNB, Gaibandha :
Law enforcers arrested three people from separate places of Gaibandha district in connection with the killing of Gaibandha-1 lawmaker Manjurul Islam Liton.
The three suspects were held in several drives conducted from Monday night to Tuesday morning.
With the latest addition, the number of suspects arrested in this connection stands at 30.Liton was shot at point blank range by some miscreants at his village home at Masterpara in Bamandanga union of Sundarganj Upazila on Saturday evening. The MP was admitted to Rangpur Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead. MP Liton was laid to rest at his village home on Monday afternoon.
