3 more devotees die in Ijtema

Three devotees including a Yemeni citizen died on the second day of the first phase of the Biswa Ijtema now underway at Tongi on the outskirts of the capital on Saturday.
On Friday night, another body was found at the Ijtema ground.
Ahmed Abdullah Harun, 70, complained of chest pain and breathed his last at about 10:00am, Mohammad Shah Alam Sharif, Civil Surgeon of Gazipur, told The New nation.
Two died of cardiac arrest on Saturday while the body of another devotee from Bhola district was found at around 10:30 pm on Friday night,
 said Ismail Hossain, Officer-in-Charge of Tongi Police Station.
So far, seven devotees died on the Ijtema premises, around 20km from the capital, OC said.
Samsuddin, 60, from Gafargaon upazila in Mymensingh and Zihad Ali, 55, from Daulatpur upazila in Kushtia died of cardiac arrest at around 1:00am and 5:00am respectively.
