3 minor siblings’ bodies found in B’baria river

The bodies of three minor siblings, who went missing while taking bath, were found floating in Bomalia River in Nasirnagar Upazila of the district on Wednesday.
According to police, the deceased were Sultana, 7, Badsha, 5, and Raja, 4. They hailed from Ratanpur Purbapara village of the Upazila. Their father Shawkat Ali, a vendor, stays in Sylhet due to his profession, while their mother is now in Lebanon.
Quoting the family, local Union Parishad Chairman Abdul Ahad said that the
 siblings went to the river to take bath on Tuesday, but did not return, promoting the family members to search for them.
Later, their bodies were found floating in the river.
Abdul Kader, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Nasirnagar Police Station, said that the relatives recognized the siblings after police had brought the bodies following its recovery.
The boys and the girl resided with their aunt as none of their parents stayed home, the police official said.
 Their shoes were found on the banks of the river on Tuesday, the OC said.
