One rick rickshaw puller named Md Pervez(18) and rickshaw passenger Kohinoor Begum(45) died in road mishap in the port city on Friday .
EPZ thana police sources said the rickshaw puller and passenger were killed in the spot while a speedy covered pushed the rickshaw on back side of the rickshaw in front of Bandartilla Darus Salam mosque under EPZ thana in city. Eye witnesses sources said a covered van pushed the rickshaw near cement crossing of Bandartila where the puller died on the spot and the locals rushed the passenger to nearby hospital where attending doctors declared her death. The covered van along with the driver detained by police and the dead body sent to morgue for autopsy.
