Three people including a schoolgirl were killed in separate incidents of lightning strikes in Khulna, Kishoreganjand and Brahmanabria districts on Wednesday and Tuesday.
In Khulna, a man was killed as a thunderbolt struck him while catching fish at a water body amid rain at Lakhohati Uttar Beel in Digholia upazila around 8 am on Wednesday.

wife of Omar Gazi of Samarchar village, was killed when a thunderbolt hit her at Ashtagram bazar in Astagram upazila around 8 pm.
In Brahmanbaria, a schoolgirl was killed as a thunderbolt struck her when she went out from her home during rain around 7 am at Amtali village, said Ali Arshad, officer-in-charge of Bijoynagar Police Station.
The deceased was identified as Nipa Akter, 16, daughter of Abdul Latif of the village.
