3 killed in Jhenaidah incidents

Three unnatural death incidents took place in Jhenaidah on Monday. A septuagenarian female construction worker was electrocuted when she was working in a poultry farm at Bazrapur village on Moheshpur upazila on Monday afternoon.
The deceased was Padma Rani Roy of the village. Moheshpur police station officer in charge Aminul Islam Biplab admitted the fact and said, she succumbs when the locals rushed her at local upazila health complex.
A three-year boy Ahmed Rafi, son of Oliar Rahman of Pairadanga village under Harinakundu upazila was drowned in a ditch on the same noon.
Kapashhatia union parishad ward member Salahuddin Ahmed said the child went missing during rainfall in the afternoon. Later, his body was found in a ditch near the house.
In separate incident an unidentified person age about 28 was crushed under the wheels of a train near Rangiarpota village under Kotchandpur upazila on Monday morning.
Stationmaster of Kotchandpur station Golam Mostafa said, the man might jump on the rail truck in the morning. The government railway police (GRP) from Khulna rushed the spot and recovered the body.
Separate unnatural death cases were filed with respective police stations, said, additional superintendent of police in Jhenaidah Azbahar Ali Seikh.
